Yeah, Zara's got an outlet store. That'?s right.
I thought Zara's shop would be beautiful and cheap. Let us bring to your notice Lefties, the Zara Outlet Shop, of which you (probably) knew nothing. Originally named after Inditex, the Zara proprietor, with a name deriving from Linkovers, the necklace was originally set up by Inditex to help move surplus stocks from last year' s campaign at reduced rates.
Believe it or not, this is not a new company - the first Lefties outlet was opened in 1993 - and now it looks as if Inditex has a plan to extend the Outlet off-shoot. Priced about a third lower on average than Zara, it has the promise of becoming a serious player in competition with companies like Forever 21 and H&M.
Initially all markets were located in Spain, but in the last two years subsidiaries have been opened in Portugal, Mexico, Russia and most recently in Qatar in December 2016. In the meantime there are more than 130 stores in all. "They could be exporting the Inditex franchise to other Inditex producing nations such as the UK and Germany," Carlos Hernandez of Planet Retail said to Reuters.
Unfortunately, there are no start up schedules yet in the UK, and the type of stocks currently does not allow an e-commerce site (you can only book stocks to gather them in the store), but keep an eye out for this area.....
