Baby shop opens two new branches
Dubai VAE: December 18, 2011 - Babyshop has opened two branches in major cities in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, increasing the number of branches in the UAE to 29. The new companies have successfully expanded the sales area of Babyshop in the UAE by over 17,439m². Abu Dhabi's new Babyshop branch was opened as an integrated part of the Landmark Group's Centrepoint shop at the Baniyas-based Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in Baniyas and extends over 9,565m².
Sharjah Cooperative Society's new subsidiary in Al Dhaid has a sales area of almost 6,500m². It is the forth Sharjah outlet of the Sharjah brands. UAE General Manager Ruban Shanmugarajah and UAE retail operations manager Jason Walters were present at the opening. Baby shop is a leading player in the 0-16 year-old market sector and provides a range of items to meet your different needs.
Founded in 1973 in Bahrain, Baby Shop is a conceptual shop specialising in games, clothes, baby bases, nurseries and much more for newborns, infants and under-16s. Baby shop is part of the Landmark Group, one of the biggest retailers in the area. Baby shop also has its own private label called Juniors.
Baby shop branches are found throughout the entire area, the UAE included.
ICCC ACADEMY RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH BABY SHOP
Babyshop, the one-stop destiny and UAE's premier Omni Channels children's retailer, has confirmed its dedication to the next generations of crime star in the UAE and renewed its relationship with the International Cricket Council Academy in Dubai Sports City. Under the terms of the deal, Babyshop will remain the title sponsor of the ICC Academy's flag ship Bricket Cubs and next year's Babyshop Summer Cricket Camp.
Eight weeks of the Summer Cricket Camp baby shop will take place from July-August 2018 and is aimed at young people in two ages, the Cricket Cubs for 3-6 year-olds and juniors from 6-12 years old. Baby shop, has been in business for more than 40 years. Commented on the partnership, Ruban Shanmugarajah, Chief Operating Officer - Baby Shop, said:
