Using Nielsen figures, they analysed 530 different types of food and drink bought in the last five month, including 530 different types of food and drink. A lot of them were reissbased products like chips and poufs. It also found that baby food today contains 70 percent more acrylic acid than the median fries, a compound associated with cerebral injury and reproduction problems.

In addition, they found that 60 percent of products with "BPA-free" tags were actually positively assayed for BPA, an industry grade chemicals used in the manufacture of plastics.

Allergy contact dermatitis and baby dermatitis

From a physiological point of view, the skins of newborns and small toddlers differ from those of older minors and grown-ups in respect of texture, combination and functioning. That means baby skins are much more sensitive than grown-up skins. A baby's corporum is about 30% less than that of an adults, and the development of the other epidermal strata is incomplete[1, 2].

For this reason, baby skins require particular care[3]. Every lotion that is spread on the scalp and not washed off can be easily ingested. There are three main causes for the greater absorbtion of such compounds that come into direct physical contact wih the baby's skin: their skins are thin, there is a high relationship between skins size and bodily mass, and the skins are coated with a kind of down that enhances the absorptive surface[4].

It is therefore advisable that only pure mineral waters are used to clean new and young animal skins, i.e. no chemicals, medical towel-based lotions should be used on infants' skin[8]. Allergy related eczema occurs when someone contacts an allergen causing an allergic response, which can lead to erythema and oedema, eczema, itching, unevenness or, in more serious cases, bladder problems that can flush out fluids and cause shedding.

Frequent causes of skin allergies are cosmetic products, colorants in clothes, perfumes and conservatives in baby articles[9]. One of the most well known forms of infant allergic skin irritation is diaper rash[4]. At some point, up to 50% of all young babies will have at least one diaper eruption episode[7].

Among the most frequently occurring causes of diaper rashes is the exposure of sensitive skins to chemicals several days a week[4]. Perfumes and perfumes are the most abundant in baby wet towels; however, all chemicals should be regarded as potentially allergenic[5, 8]. Conservatives used in baby cloths very often cause an hypersensitivity with an acute pruritus in the area of the diapers.

Preservatives named MCI/MI are supposed to cause hypersensitive skin irritation in baby wipes[10]. The other frequent food sensitizers present in baby cloths included cocopheryl acetate, gasoline derived propane methylene glycol, perfumes, 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol and parabenes. Allergy related skin irritation of baby wet tissues most often occurs in young babies as stimulated buttocks.

They can be found wherever baby cloths are used, both in babies and grown-ups. A few instances are adult eye contour eczema when baby cloths are used to take away make-up, baby cloths are used for manual eczema in young children's mother, which usually leads to more at the tips of the fingers than dried, chapped, blistered finger tips.
