Trong>Is it secure to reuse seats? Trong>
Sure it'?s safer to reuse them? A lot of mothers and fathers know and abstain from understanding the security issues associated with purchasing and using automobile seating. Do not know the story of the fit, you may not have the directions, important parts may be absent from the fit (unnoticed by the vendor or purchaser), and it may have been implicated in a clash.
However, what is the history of the reuse of a vehicle seating you have received from a new manufacturer? Expired vehicle seating? To reuse children cars, the manufacturer recommends not to use cars older than 5 years. The reason for this is that the chair may not be able to offer the same degree of safety as a new one.
In the 5 years you have had this automobile seating, the security of the automobile seating will have drastically increased, the main cause for upgrading your automobile seating is that new technology and development entering the market will make the new automobile seating even more secure. This is a 10 year old and a new 10 year old auto occupant comfort fitment.
Old is a Britax Trio from 9kg - 25kg (bottom left) and new is a Joie Stages from 0 - 25kg (bottom right). First picture below shows the ECE certification for the above-mentioned Britax retainer, which shows that it is R44.03-certified. Second picture below with the logo in the bottom is of the new Joie Stages seats and shows that it is certified according to the latest version of the official registration document REACH - RAL44.04.
The headrests and harnesses of both chairs are easily adjustable, but the headrests and side panels of the new chair are significantly lower. With the new chair, kids can enjoy security and shelter that the old chair would not do so well due to the flat side panels.
In contrast to the old chair, the new chair has 3 reclining heights. Unlike the Britax, which is only forward directed, the new saddle provides up to 18 kg of back cover. Don't the plastic in the seats collapse? Plastic materials in a chair begin to decompose, but the whole thing lasts a long while.
Chairs that are permanently kept in the vehicle and are subject to extremes of temperatures, or those placed near a cooler or in places with varying temperatures (such as the attic), begin to deteriorate faster, as do those used in very warm or very cool places. Plastics deteriorate over the years, but not so quickly that the fit breaks apart in a crash at the age of 5.
Wait a minute... my place is Group 1,2,3 - it's conceived to hold me for 11 years! This is exactly the advice to retrofit the seating after 5 years, a advice. That doesn't mean five years of sitting can be hazardous. One of the main reasons for recommending the use of a 5-year old children retainer is the progress made in manufacturing more secure seating - the new i-Size control is a good example.
This does not mean that a Group 123 headquarters is insecure after 5 years, but it cannot operate to the same standards as a new retention system. If I want to keep my place for my next baby, where should I keep it? Best way to store your baby chair is to keep it cleaned first, rinse the cover (not the dishes), remove all breadcrumbs and make sure the clasp is free of nourishment.
Once the neat cover ings have been refitted, wind the chair in a cover and then in a large foil of plastics or air-cushion film. Keep your seats in a closet. Inspect the rig for visual evidence of abrasion, fringe or cracking. Do not use the chair if there are any.
Inspect the fit for damages, do not re-use children's vehicle safety equipment if you notice any damages. When your chair has styrofoam under the cover, inspect it for tears or brittle parts - again, if you find such a thing or have concerns, do not use the chair.
Verify the ECE approval of your seating. An R44 certificated fit. Do not use 02 any more. R44 approval for seating. The 04 can still be used and the latest default is R129, i-Size. Checking can be done by attaching the ECE label to your chair that looks like this:
The reuse of children's chairs that have been in storage for several years should be thoroughly checked and evaluated. When your chair is several years old, it may not provide the same degree of safety as you would have expected. Purchasing a new, modern chair is the only way to ensure the highest possible degree of insuredness.
There is a great need to make sure that the chair is appropriate for the child's body mass and is interoperable with the vehicle(s) in which it can be used.
