I' d always buy a new auto seat in person as these are really important and you need to know that it hasn't been in an accident but baby carriages etc - as long as you're lucky with the state theyre in, then you can save some deals! Thats my first baby so I don't have a listing of "have to have" or anything, and we've ended up purchasing (or some have been paying for us!) a great deal of stuff new.
£5ish from facebook sales pages, a playmate for 10 who was still in mother care sold for almost 60, a Muses hamper that was in new state for much less than half the prize it was still sold for? A few baby things are rarely used before they're too small, or baby just doesn't like it, so folks want to get away to make some more room in the home!
As I said before, make sure you are satisfied with the terms before handing over any funds, otherwise you may repent later.
