What to buy for your first BabyWhich you can buy for your first baby
With my first I think I haven't bought up to 20+wks but my then spouse wasn't interested, so was ceded to me. this time spouse is very agitated as it's his first. Depending on a few things I think....whether you want to wait until after your first scan, whether you have room to keep things fetched (places like mother care can make you to pay for things and let her deliver closer baby due date)...whether you want to buy zero or color (depends on locating the baby sex)...whether you want to buy zero or color (depends on locating the baby sex..)
Everybody is different and depends on you when you buy. If you're too nervous to be waiting, do you always buy scrape gloves and babygrow? Sorry, your web browsers cannot playback this movie. Buying our crèche at the age of 11 we did a really good job, but buying nothing else until after the 12-week long scanning, buying most of the material after 20 when we knew she was a little gal.
Most of what we have, we keep if we have another one and if it is a young one, we will buy after 20 week. I was 32 months pregant with my first one before I made a purchase, and about 30 months pregant with my second one before I made a purchase. First things I ordered were the baby carriages when my mother said I would leave them later, but I didn't want to challenge them.
If Ive had a few boyfriends who have had long term casualties and had to returning things they had purchased and it was the heart breaking for them. As a 19 year old impatient/stimulated/shopaholic when I was 19 years old with DD I think I had purchased lots of essential things before the first Scan and was planning out the neonatal - fall - winter wardrobe once I knew that I had a girl.lol.
Wouldn't do it now knowing they need half of what you buy and I'd probably keep gender a surprise. im 15 weeks now and have got the trip system, diapers/clothes etc loads. been starting to buy bits at about 7 weeks. now. I am 14+5 with my first and we did not plan to get anything big until after 20 week, but we were given a baby crib at such a good rate that we could not refuse it.
And it was so weird to look at it and think, "What's going to go in there?" My man is all nervous and the offer for some baby bands is now growing on ebay He won a G'n'R last night, then he realized that the 6 month plus is!
We have also seen many strollers and crèches, but we will not buy any yet. Twenty week old scans with my first one. I' ve only got three week left. It'?s a part 'cause I want to find out what I got first. I will be less nervous, see myself as more clear and so on.
I' m 8-week old and haven't purchased anything yet. I get some small bit after the first scanning (keep your finger crossed), but I will buy most things after the 20th Wk scanning. I' m only 6 wk with my first one so I'm definitely not going to buy anything at any time once I know it's still very early days and things are still a little unsafe.
But how many Weeks were you when you first purchased something for the baby? I was 19 years old with our first one and we began to pick up small waistcoats and pyjamas as soon as we began to try it. When I was expecting (6 week later) we had a big stack of waistcoats, pyjamas and toilet articles.
The second baby was worth a few bites every months after I found out. Well, I was about six months pregnant, I guess. I am expecting number 3 and purchased diapers at 22 week, I only got them as an option or I probably would have been waiting longer!
